Only a couple of hours to spare in Marseille?

That’s all I had and despite the last trip being a while back (research for “My Little French Kitchen” cookbook) I just had to visit Maison Empereur, THE homeware store. It’s a total treasure trove, even their cleaning products look desirable.

Marseillaise soap in the basket it was a hop over to Mercerie for a delicious lunch (can you resist not jiggling your panna cotta?).

Followed by a quick stop next door to pick up a delicious loaf for dinner.
