I have found out that those qualities of an innocent and curious child are strength, not a weakness as I previously thought, as society teaches us. I didn’t even noticed how I’ve became a person of a cold heart, life-controlling, taking myself and life seriously. I’ve simply closed myself to Love 😔 I didn’t know how to silence the voice in my head that was telling me that I’m not good enough, to constantly comparing myself to others, that I’ll never be able to truly love, that I didn’t deserve to experience joy and happiness. It created a sense of unsatisfactory, jealousy and a constant state of feeling down which penetrated each day like a thin invisible veil.
