The past 8.5 months he was doing great. We changed up his diet, he went through chemo like a champ, and honestly this was the strongest we have ever seen him. Unfortunately the cancer caught up with him, and he took a turn for the worse this past week. At this point I think we are just waiting for him to tell us when he’s ready. I know his brothers are waiting for him. When he was first diagnosed we were told he has days left … weeks if we’re lucky. When we were told chemo was an option we were told optimistically we would get another few months. He gave us 9 super active months where people started to ask us if maybe he was misdiagnosed.
