The process is exacting, starting by an initial appointment to discuss the client’s needs and desires. The tailor then takes over 20 different measurements, advising the client throughout on cut, details and choice of fabric among 3000 textile options woven in Italy, England, Ireland and France. Only then does the master tailor begin crafting the suit, sketching the design, making the pattern and transcribing it into the canvas toile to achieve the first prototype of the jacket.
