“Watching The River Flow” for Steve Gadd. One night in Boston (in ’03), as part of the ADAA (American Drummers Achievement Awards) Rick Marotta, Tom Scott, Mike Landau, Larry Goldings, Jimmy Johnson and myself payed tribute to our good friend Steve Gadd by performing this great Bob Dylan song that Steve has covered with his own band The Gadd Gang so many times. The evening was hosted by Bill Cosby and featured performances and speeches by James Taylor, Paul Simon, Rick Marotta, Vinnie Colaiuta, Anthony Jackson and Steve himself. What a night!!
