What led Charelle to join the team? They were excited to discover that not only did @WildDiversity serve both the LGBTQ2S+ and BIPOC communities to encourage personal connections with the outdoors, but that it specifically was welcoming to the Indigenous community! “For me, it was seeing something that I’ve been trying to create for myself, and especially supporting the two communities I come from… And in a sense, it was kind of like a broader view of what I wanted to do, because I wanted to focus on the indigenous communities where I'm from.”

It's clear that Wild Diversity was created by and for LGBTQ2S+ and BIPOC folks, from the inside and out, including the About Us page with the acknowledgements of the “original stewards of this land” as well as the “giants” who came before to the queer and trans leaders of the trips.
