This fills me with so much pride - for many reasons - firstly because it is a dream to grace that field with my music - secondly - I made “Sort Of Revolution” by hand in a loft studio in Brighton on an old @soundcraftmixers mixing desk with my friends and brothers @guy_fink_bass and @timwthornton in the sweltering heat of 2008 with 2 mics - Tim’s kick drum was stuffed with bath towels and draped with a @sum41 promotional dressing gown to get the low end and and me and guy spent many nights inch by inch on the mix getting it as close to perfection as we could … trying to raise our sound game from this tiny bedroom studio to compete with the Sonics of the big boys … This track was considered a weird hybrid by our professional listeners when we played them the demos - but I stuck to my guns and insisted that dub and folk and soul could sit together at the musical table and get along …. I am proud beyond words that this little slice of 2008 DIY has made it into the PA of the most important sound system in the world - even if it is just used to tune the system a little - that, in a way, as a producer, is the biggest compliment the techies could ever give me… I hope you all have an amazing weekend at the greatest festival ever … My thanks to @harry_lang for sending me this moment …」6月25日 0時51分
