My producer Chevy and I started working on this track right after our first release “714-LUVTIDE” but it took so much longer to write and produce this one, I think almost a year. I think a lot of people assume it’s easy to create hip-hop music, or rap, or write rap lyrics, but after going through the song-writing process firsthand, I learned that that shit is hard!! Well, at least it definitely wasn’t easy for me. It took a couple of months to get my lyrics the way I wanted with lots of help and advice from Chevy, then many recording sessions to get the performance right. Also, while we were working on this track, I was not doing well and dealing with mental health issues - a couple of times I had to tell Chevy, “I’m not feeling this right now, can we reschedule for another day?” I’m so thankful to Chevy for being so patient with me despite what I was going through, but for also pushing me and believing in my potential, coaching me and advising me every step of the way. This track would not be possible at all without him. I also want to thank P Rnb Jonez, who helped produce and mix the track to perfection all the way from Cleveland, OH. When Chevy sent the first updated version of the track, I was mindblown. This track would also not have been complete without his expertise. And shoutout to my girl Lunachi for the beautiful cover art!! She completely grasped exactly what we wanted, and exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much!
