ATTENTION FILMMAKERS!
Y’all OVERWHELMED us with your submissions to the first annual @smodcastle Film Festival! SModcastle Keeper @odblues7 and I were hoping for a hundred or so entries but we got nearly 1000 from the genius @filmfreeway alone! So as victims of our own success, in order to watch all the entries and not overlook any possible cinematic gems, Ernie and I made the decision to move the Festival out of August entirely. The *new* dates for the First Annual -SModcastle Film Festival are Wednesday NOVEMBER 30 to Sunday DECEMBER 4! The good news is that because we got some incredible movies, we’re gonna play them at an actual movie theater! @theatlanticmoviehouse will be our home for the #smodcastlefilmfestival - so every filmmaker whose flick we program will get to see their work on the big screen! And the fine folks at @decentralized_pictures are coming on as sponsors, so we’ll be awarding valuable production-oriented prizes to our Film Festival winners!
