But I told myself that if I thought songs were cool and didn’t have a place nessecarily I would just start dropping them because that’s the purpose of art. Plus if I died tomorrow I would hate to have a vault of music that never got to be heard. Even if just for a few people, I want my art to live in a gallery, or in someone’s living room, but I don’t want it to live in my closet collecting dust when it could speak to someone. Actually, some of these songs, the more emotional ones obviously, were written during some really challenging and dark times over the last year or so.
