Edvard Grieg died on this day 115 years ago in Bergen, Norway.

This is Troldhaugen, Grieg’s home.
Today it is the Edvard Grieg museum and I had the honor to play on his piano - a Steinway from 1892 - that still holds such a warm and sonorous sound and made me feel transported into another century.
