新しい本が出ました。
「イコ　トラベリング　１９４８―」という本です。かわいい表紙のイラストが気に入ってます。
以前「トンネルの森　１９４５」で、イコという少女が過酷な戦争の日々を生きる姿を書きました。今回の新刊は、そのイコさんが戦争が終わり、自由な世界の中で生きていく物語です。１３歳から２４歳までを書きました。そして広い世界へ出て行こうとするまでの物語です。どうぞ読んで、日本のちょっと前の少女がどんなだったか・・・出会ってみてください。

My new book has been published.  “IKO Traveling 1948-“ is the title.  I love this charming cover illustration.
In my previous book “The Tunnel Through the Woods, 1945”, I wrote about a girl named IKO, who survived through the harsh days of the wartime.  This time, it’s a story after war, and IKO lives in the free world.  I’ve written from her age of 13 to 24, until she is jumping out to the vast world.  Please read it and meet a girl who lived in Japan just a short time ago.
