It’s always such a pleasure to present an award and attend the Golden Goggles presented by @usaswimming and the USA Swimming Foundation.

For those who don’t know, Golden Goggles is the swimming version of the Golden Globes! A night to get all dressed up and celebrate one another and the amazing achievements that have happened throughout the year. It is all about recognizing and celebrating all the hard work, dedication, sacrifice, perseverance, and success of every athlete in attendance. Not to mention raising money for the Foundation so we can continue our mission of saving lives and building champions by helping provide swim lessons to youth all across the country.

This year was extra special because it was mine and Hayes’ first night together away from sweet baby girl, and it was an incredibly fitting event to do so because it’s where we first met in 2010. Our quick 48 hours included seeing Kinky Boots on Broadway, presenter rehearsals, hair and make up, an amazing awards show, and some sweet, quiet time together just enjoying the city. Seeing so many people who have made such an impact on you over so many years always leaves me feeling so emotional. Feeling very grateful and very excited to get home to our GIRL!💕
