ATSUSHIさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ATSUSHIInstagram)「#atsushizm アーティストにとってのアトリエやスタジオはまさに聖地であり、一番気持ちのいい場所じゃないといけない。その瞬間に全てを懸けて何かを生み出すんだから。そして最近思う事は、アートには余白が必要だという事。白いキャンバスがあるから絵が描けたり、時には無駄だと思われることをしないと、その深みは出せない。効率主義じゃ、効率的に生み出したものしか生まれない。時間というかけがえのないものをかけたり、時にゆとりの中からとんでもない発想が生まれたり。この歳になって、ギチギチのスケジュールじゃ、誰かの気持ちになって、誰かを救うような歌は歌えないのかもな…って思う。そしていつも新しい道具を試す時は子どもの時みたいにワクワクする。まるでクリスマスに枕元に届いたオモチャを開ける時のように。新しいマイク、イヤホン、ピアノ、ギター。全てが道具でもあるけど、自分にとっては癒しでもある。それを触る瞬間、自分はアーティストになれるのかもしれない。そしてCASIOさんのピアノには何度も救われている。今回は可愛らしい黄色のピアノをスタジオに置いた。いつもは赤いピアノを児童養護施設や保育園に寄付していただくなど、本当に多大なるご尽力をいただき、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。僕の活動は微々たるものかもしれないが、ほんの少しでもこうした活動をご一緒させていただけていることに感謝申し上げます。いつも本当にありがとうございます。 A studio is a sacred place for musicians. It’s a place where all the ideas and efforts are brought in to create a piece of artwork. So it should be a place where they feel comfort and ease. I’ve realized recently the importance of always having an extra space when creating something. What I mean by this is that we’re able to add colors because the canvas is white. But to be creative doesn’t always mean that you have to fill in the blanks . At times there’s no need to do things efficiently. Taking time … I feel like this is when my creative juices are flowing . And I get excited when I have a new musical instrument. A feeling, somewhat similar when a child’s opening presents at Christmas. A new mic, earphones, piano, and a guitar. These are all instruments & gear but they’re also my relaxation tools. When I touch them I transform into a musician. Casio has always been a part of my music carrier and I’ve decided to set this yellow piano in my studio. They have always supported me by donating the “Red piano” to every orphanage and nursery school I visit. I cannot thank them enough.
