Less than 2% of veterinarians in the U.S. are Black or African American. We want the future of veterinary medicine to reflect the diversity of the communities we serve. So we’re listening to our community members and investing in initiatives — because the world we want tomorrow is inclusive.

We’re kicking off our "Breaking Barriers" series with Dr. Coretta Patterson, Group Medical Director at @bluepearlvet. She’s breaking barriers in the veterinary profession every day.
