I feel so lucky to have had this time, these meals, that art, those places and the ability to share my discoveries here with you all. Thank you for your recommendations, for stopping to say hi on the street, and for the kind gifts on our travels to two of my favorite places on earth! Venice & Florence. It was dreary today in Florence, but that didn’t put a damper on our adventures! We roamed palace walls at the Palazzo Pitti, discovered what a bathtub built for an Emperor looks like, and got lost in the Boboli Gardens which led us to a final gaze over the rooftops of Florence. Earlier this week, Eloise and I stopped into the handmade boutique @grazia.giachi where Eloise spotted right away this delicate purple silk dress. I’ve never seen her squeal and love something so sincerely. To her, it is a *real* princess dress (Rapunzel’s according to Eloise) and what we both agreed she would wear to dinner on our last night in Florence. Tonight she felt like a princess and I just felt so thankful for the memories. Ciao Italy, thanks for the inspiration… and the pasta pasta pasta! Thank you to the warm and welcoming @stregisflorence!
