A weekend in the mountains 🧸⛰️🥾 We went to Shenandoah National Park!

Where we stayed: Graves Mountain Farm & Lodges in the town Syria right in the Shenandoah valley. Was lovely and we almost had the entire place to ourselves! You can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at the main lodge which is a super cozy & romantic spot. For couples, I’d recommend to stay in their Poplar Lodge (king room) 🧸

These are the two hikes we did: the Whiteoak Canyon trail with a beautiful waterfall at the end! The waterfall has a pool that I’d definitely come back for to swim in the spring/summer! The hike was about 2.5 hours round-trip. The hike we did the next day was called the Old Rag Mountain trail, which was so beautiful as well. This hike is a bit more of a climb but the views at the top made it totally worth it!! The round trip for this trail was about 5-6 hours.

The best is that it was a super affordable weekend away!! Our one-night stay at the lodge was $105 including tax and for breakfast, lunch and dinner for two we it was $150 total at the main lodge 🤍

We live in DC and rented a car for two days to head to Shenandoah which is only 2 hours away from DC. Highly recommend!!!
