Mother Nature hooked it up big time with this one and thanks to the RRG’s very own Dario Ventura for opening it up. The climbing is slow and sensational with scoops, bubbles, blobs, slopers, iron pipes (literally odd shapes of natural iron tubes formed in the rock), even an epic surfboard-feature dyno-ending. This is one of the best on earth no question. Climbing this route was magical and I don’t say that often. “The Tube, unlike most routes at the Red stood out to me because it’s a singular feature. Most walls in this region host an endless maze of holds, and it’s your job to find the path of least resistance. It’s a long vertical scoop with just enough futures on the edge of a blank wall.
