It took a decade to repair this 363-year-old temple hall in Kyoto! Several hundred sections have been restored over time using an age-old, wood-fill technique.🪚🔨🧰 Extending the life of this beautiful building is serious work, but it seems carpenters from 200 years ago also had a bit of fun!🍑🦆🙂
