We are never truly in control of our appearances. Roles determine our hair length,style,colour,facial hair,weight,shape even the amount of tan our character would have for consistent moments,not to mention our headspace. I’ve been training for a certain role for weeks now,diet,nutrition,cardio and weights to peak next month for the start of shooting.🎥👌🏾 I was getting there with a few weeks to go but unfortunately it’s now been pushed to later in the year😫🤦🏾‍♂️ But y’all know me…Always looking for a #whittle positive,at least I’m closer to the shape for when filming starts later in the year and it also helps with another movie I’m shooting this summer soooooo at least that character will be easier to prep for too🙏🏾 For me as an actor,it’s the prep that you pay for,I act for free,that’s just fun and I love every minute,no matter how taxing and exhausting it can be. It’s the hard work in silence that people don’t see and just assume it comes easy. I train and sacrifice for weeks/months sometimes.
