That was a wonderful memorial. Reminding us as I’m sure Steve had in mind, that life is short & precious. We all need to slow our roll & savor each moment.

Humming along to ‘Long Black Veil’ (played by his gorgeous son @mackeymarley ) & @gilesdeacon_ & @camillalowther incredible - moving & funny words & a John Cale harp piece not too long, not too short. Snazzy.

A stylish, deep, smart, soulful send off. & a beautiful funeral for a friend to so many.

Seeing @kegrand as a pallbearer broke my heart, I love you ❤️
that was so strong & real, & so you & Steve.

Steve chose the no vox “wouldn’t it be nice?” & that was was all the proof of God I need (with the sky opening up into a hail storm as we walked, confirming)

Rest In Peace Steve. You made a lovely, real, impact on the world and you will really be missed. ♥️
