I headed to Kyogoku Stand, a pub that opens early. I thought the place was geared towards young people, but it turned out that locals make up most of the clientele. It was fun to experience the Showa retro atmosphere, which makes sense since the place has been operating since 1927. The prices are slightly higher than I expected, but it's easy to enter by yourself and you can drink from early hours, making it a good option when you want to use it quickly.
