The opportunity for Dancing with the Stars came to me in the middle of a new record cycle and 45 city tour. It wasn’t the first time the opportunity had come my way (which is very fortunate in itself) and my initial reaction was the same as previously. Nah. There’s not a hope on earth I could do that and not be terrible. It’s too big of an ask. I sat with it for an hour, and asked myself “but what if it’s an experience that surprises you? What if you can maybe get better and hang in there, and learn a new skill.” I spoke to my wife who took a day to think about it, and then really believed to her core that I should do it. I did and it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. Facing fear is something I’ve always tried to do in my career, and I promise if you’re reading this and feel like you’re on the fence about a decision or experience due to nerves or fear of the size of the obstacle in front of you, jump into it, and you’ll learn to swim. @carlmullan , you’re a legend and you know how highly I think of you. You deserve everything good that comes your way. (Up the Creggan) @kyleevincent and @stephenvincent17 , I miss you both a lot, and will forever cherish the last 4 months we spent together. Finally to my wife @acmcg1233 thanks for accepting me in all emotional forms the last 4 months 😂 That was truly the hardest thing I’ve done to date, and I couldn’t have done it without you. We are off to travel for a few weeks ❤️ Thanks everybody for the support throughout the journey, truly unbelievable.
