📍Kannonji-gawa River (観音寺川), Inawashiro Town (猪苗代町), Fukushima Prefecture（福島県）

🚗By Car: 10 min from Inawashiro Bandaikogen I.C. off the Ban-etsu Expressway

🚉By Train: 3 min walk from Kawageta Station (JR Ban-etsu West Line)

👉Due to heavy rainfall, part of the JR Ban-etsu West Line had to halt operations last year…but the entire line is expected to resume operations from April 1st!

So, if you’re thinking of doing a railway getaway next month to enjoy a wonderful sakura wonderland (using the JR Tohoku Pass, perhaps)… save this post! 🔖💕

As of today (March 28), the Kannonji-gawa River Cherry Trees are expected to be in full bloom in late April (starting from around April 20th!).
