Candlewick Co., Ltd.さんのインスタグラム写真 - (Candlewick Co., Ltd.Instagram)「イギリスベースで仕事をするジェマです！今回のテーマは春。イギリスの春といえば、（とても！）長い冬が終わってようやく庭に腰を下ろし、美しい春の空気、暖かな日差し、華やかな花々を楽しむことができるようになります。私は幸運にも庭に桜の木があるので、雨が降らなければいつもその下で息子とピクニックをして、花見を楽しむようにしています！今年は（イースター休暇が遅くなったおかげで）カンブリア州の湖水地方へも足を延ばす予定です。イングランドの北西部に位置する湖水地方は、いくつかある美しい湖と険しい山々のおかげで、人気のある散歩コースとなっています。ウィリアム・ワーズワース、サミュエル・コールリッジ、ジョン・ラスキン、ビアトリクス・ポターなどの文豪に刺激を与えた、本当に美しい風景が広がっている場所です。私たちは、農場が改造された納屋に滞在予定なので、田園風景を楽しみながらたくさん歩き、イースターのエッグハント（チョコレート卵！）を楽しみたいと考えています。そして、新たなインスピレーションを得てきたいと思います！ It's Gemma here, and I'm going to introduce my plans for the spring season. Spring in the UK means enjoying the beautiful spring air, warmer days, gorgeous blossoms and finally being able to sit out in the garden after a (very!) long winter. I'm lucky enough to have a cherry blossom tree in my garden, so I always try to enjoy the flowers by having a picnic with my son underneath them. If it doesn't rain! This year (thanks to the late Easter holidays) we will also travel to the Lake District in Cumbria. The Lake District is in the Northwest of England, and a popular walking destination thanks to its beautiful lakes and rugged mountains. It's a place of true beauty, and has inspired literary greats such as William Wordsworth, Samuel Coleridge, John Ruskin and Beatrix Potter. We will be staying in a converted barn on a working farm, so are looking forward to immersing ourselves in the countryside, doing lots of scenic walking, and enjoying an Easter egg hunt (chocolate eggs!).
