Today, the Eiffel Tower celebrates the 134th anniversary of its innaguration!

After 2 years, 2 months and 5 days of construction, the Eiffel Tower was completed on March 31, 1889. Named after Gustave Eiffel, the tower was built for an international exposition to honor of the centenary of the French Revolution. It remains largely unchanged today and is considered one of the world’s major tourist attractions.
