To raise awareness for mental health by carrying the “weight of depression” a 35lbs weight as a reminder that everyone is going through something and we need to fight for them It’s is a six-day, 251 km ultramarathon, which is approximately the distance of six regular marathons. The longest single stage is 91 km long. This multiday race is held every year in southern Morocco, in the Sahara Desert. It has been regarded as the toughest foot race on Earth The race is comprised of six stages over seven days, with the first three daily stages set around 20-25 miles (32-40km) each. The fourth stage is around 50 miles (80km); the fifth stage is always a full marathon of 26.2 miles (42km), and the sixth (and last) stage is from 9-13 miles (14-21km) Training for the race Long distance runners aim for weekly runs of around 100 to 125 miles We are so proud of you already and will be cheering you on in 4 weeks time!
