Familiar with portraying characters that portray real-life people, Sanders most recently stars as @RZA in the @Hulu series @WutangOnHulu, and has gotten quite close to the man that he portrays on screen. When talking about his relationship and character creation of Wu-Tang’s RZA Sanders says, “RZA actually reached out to me. He had seen me in ‘The Equalizer 2,’ and there was something about that character that he said he really resonated with. I turned down playing him twice, but RZA had been very involved in the creation of my embodiment of him and really put the character on to me. We've had countless conversations, countless dinners…we've built a repertoire.
