The film follows conservationists @Kristine_Tompkins and Doug Tompkins on an epic, decades-spanning love story as wild as the landscapes they dedicated their lives to protecting. Along with @rickridgeway and Yvon Chouinard, this tight knit group of the original dirtbag climbers, skiers and surfers defined a way of life and the ethos for the outdoor adventure and climbing worlds. Wild Life explores the power of love, life long friendships forged in the mountains, finding meaning and how we choose what to hold dear. Here are some of the landscapes contained in the 15 million acres @Tompkins_Conservation has helped protect and preserve. Doug and Kris' efforts have culminated in the biggest private land donation in history. They created or expanded 17 national parks in their 25 years of conservation work. Their rewilding efforts, now continued by Rewilding Argentina and Rewilding Chile, are continuing to reintroducie threatened species into these incredible landscapes.
