#tbt to Tues when I spoke and gave a reading of @theshottheplay at @theplayersny invitation of my pal @soniaomara_art . Great performing arts and literary history at here at the 19th century social club and portrait gallery, founded by the famous actor, #edwinbooth. It’s storied history includes initial organizing of @actorsequity union and being exclusively male until 1989! It’s a remarkable space and membership but it took them way to long to recognize that as #KatharineGraham said ‘power has no sex’. 👏
