With that said, this work is not over. There are still many things that need to be done.. we need to continue to raise awareness, raise funding for research, provide help internationally especially in countries that don’t have access to the invaluable resources we now have at home. we need to make prep and pep affordable and accessible for everyone all across the globe. Everyone deserves and is entitled to receive medical care and necessary treatments to support their optimal health. Every human being is entitled to have the medical intervention and care required to manage this virus, and every person should have access to a vaccine that could protect their bodies from the HIV/AIDS virus, just as we were all entitled to receive a vaccine for the Covid-19 virus. I was born in 1980 in soho downtown New York and went to school in the village, as long as I can remember, I first hand watched and experienced how the aids epidemic took loved ones, teachers, friends of parents.
