This solitary critter sleeps all day and snacks all night. Say “hello” to the brown-eared woolly opossum (Caluromys lanatus)! It’s a nocturnal marsupial that spends most of its time in the trees, and can be found in parts of South America including Colombia, Peru, and Venezuela. This omnivore has a varied diet that includes insects, birds, and even flower nectar!
