Named after the man known affectionately as “Mr. Everglades, the Herman Lucerne Memorial Tournament has become one of the most popular tournaments in the iconic Florida Keys. The tournament series expanded in recent years, adding a classic silver-scaled showdown that dials competitors’ focus onto a single air-breathing, hard-to-hook flats menace: the silver king.

Costa proudly supports the @hermanlucernechampionship Tournament Series and wishes tight lines to everyone competing in the 2023 Tarpon Cup. Over the next three days, skiffs will scour flats and channel edges for strings of tarpon migrating north, hoping to fool them into feeding on feathers.
