He’d always say to me whenever we were getting ready to embark on our next adventure , “ You’re a good kid Liz, stay that way”. I will Mike, I promise It’s been hard to say goodbye knowing I won’t get that send off anymore…but all of his advice, his isms and the big love he had for all he held dear will live on through us. As many folks know, there is nothing that can prepare you for losing your father. I’m lucky to be surrounded by strong and supportive family and friends. We spent the week laughing, crying, and celebrating a great man’s life. He had been battling Amyloidosis. As the doctor said, it’s a beast of a disease.
