He'd been falsely accused (and has since been acquitted) of murdering his father, who died of a heart attack during a medical operation. ⁠ ⁠ The non-profit label has worked with over 300 artists, many of whom have never made music before. “We have to be open to everybody,” says Happi. “Sometimes prisoners are hiding stuff. I know that. I know their stories—prisoners talk.
