Those same stockholders are beholden to the writers, the actors, the directors, the crews and staff to provide them the entertainment they crave. So, while the corporations continue to squeeze and diminish the ability of the artists to have even a middle class existence (consider the recent DESPICABLE actions against the cast of @bobheartsabishola for proof) those that reap profits remain silently complicit as they enjoy the fruits of those that they by proxy exploit. This is why we fight. This is why the fight matters to ALL of us being exploited for the profits of others and then ignored whenever our requests for the right to even a basic level of income and security are raised. The latter half of the 20th century (and yet again now) was spent fighting totalitarianism. One of the great battles of the first half of this century is against Corporations and their greed.
