For their final year at school, one day while taking photos of each other holding their small-scale sculptures, they realized that they could dispense with them altogether. What was most interesting was not the objects themselves, but the pair’s presence as sculptures.  “Death, hope, life, fear, sex, money, race, religion, city. The naked, human world. All of the emotions that lie inside of every human wherever they live in the world, whatever their educational background, whatever their religious facilities, we believe in the subjects that are true to everybody wherever they live. We always wanted art for all. That was our first slogan.
