A triumph of early modernism, The Impressionist Spirit: an Important Private Collection, champions some of the finest examples of paintings during the impressionist era.

Highlighted by Claude Monet’s ‘Au Cap Martin,’ this private collection also features works from coveted artists such as Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Édouard Manet, and André Derain.

As art historian @joachimpissarro says, “This particular collector has strength to go for more interesting paintings, paintings that have a message, have something to say.”
