In this life I only need a few good friends. Friends that are like family. I am blessed to have had that in Edward O’Sullivan, who was like a brother. A friendship so close he was family, family that never judged or disappointed, his loyalty and love was a constant for 20 + years, I could always rely on it. A true gentleman and gentle soul, he only required your authenticity and for that he gave me hours of laughter and years of happy silly chic memories. He had an ability to be both glamorous elegant yet the most down to earth. He honored his mother and family and encouraged us all to do the same. He was there for me through triumphs and failures loving me equally through all stages of our lives and always making me laugh, at him, myself and this crazy world we navigated together for over two decades. He brought me so much joy, and we both wholeheartedly agreed that the truest measure of success is only Joy.
We had plans to retire to Europe together, him running a small B&B and I, helping him decorate it and filling up the grounds with my dozens of dog’s & grandchildren I hoped to someday have. Perhaps I’ll still do that dear Eddie. On the day he passed we spoke about a little boy in Africa that was finding much needed water, that little boy brought joy hope and sadness to us both. Eddie had the biggest heart, his heart would not want mine to be broken, although it is. Thank you for loving me. I miss you and will always miss you ❤️blessings on your new journey home Eddie, I wish for your soul complete freedom from suffering.❤️
