The guy in this picture is struggling so much, and doing everything he can to remain hopeful through it all. This day, twenty years ago today, was one of the good days, when the hope was rekindled just a little bit longer. And I'm so grateful it was, because the guy in this picture could not imagine all the wonderful stuff I get to do, because he never gave up, because Anne believed in him and supported him even when he struggled to believe in himself.
