It still doesn’t feel real 😔 as the card I got him last year said “Total Fucking Legend” and that pretty much sums him up. A friend, an advocate and a role model to so many people in the Australian film industry, one of the absolute greats both professionally and personally. I had the pleasure of getting to know him on Ride Like a Girl in 2018 and most recently last year on The Clearing. From day one we hit it off, we were always having a giggle. He was cheeky and playful, yet so measured & had this wonderful gift of finding the cohesiveness on set among all the many players that make up a film crew. He’d squeeze my hand after a particularly emotional scene, a silent “good job kid”, that I came to lean on during both of these projects. He radiated warmth to everyone around him and was loved and revered by so many. This is a huge loss for our industry and for all of us who loved him but his legacy shall live on in everyone whose lives he touched. RIP Webby. Keeping the craft alive! 💔💔👏👏 #chriswebb」5月12日 20時21分
