One icon illuminates the work of another when @brookeshields sits down with Vogue for a special #LifeInLooks marking the centennial of #RichardAvedon’s (@avedonfoundation) birth and celebrating the opening of “Avedon 100,” a new exhibition on the famed photographer’s work. “Oh I loved this campaign,” she says of Avedon’s now iconic photograph of five Supermodels for Versace’s fall 1994 campaign. “I think this definitely represents and embodies a lot of what Versace was able to do, and what Richard Avedon was able to bring to life,” she adds, “the new version of a modern woman who was very sexy, but with the colors and the pastels and the pinks and the mini skirts and the socks—there’s this playful nudging of this voyage from innocence to experience.” Watch the full episode at the link in bio.
