Thematically, it is inspired by Moon Studio’s journey for self discovery and exploration. The concept for this year’s collaboration is focused around our Asian American heritage representing us in all aspects of our existence. We are here as a part of our beloved community, enriching the cities and small towns we have immigrated to. We are the shop keeper at your corner store, your professor, aspiring artist, friend and ally. Like a cinematic film about the heron traveling between time and space, we are the future and the past and forever on. We continue to seek help representing our collective movement and ask one another, to make sure all our loved ones get home safe. Our Moon Collective & Saturday’s capsule will be available online and web 5/20/23. A portion of all sales purchased in store @saturdaysnyc (Saturday) will be donated to @welcome.to.chinatown. We excited celebrate with talented friends @sesameprojects with an all day market with fantastic AAPI vendors.
