I could barely stand up straight for the first week but am now getting my strength back and am able to take longer walks each day. I’m exclusively breastfeeding and Mia is currently clustering so if I want to get anything done during the day I have to wrap her up in this wrap. I suffered a severe nipple fissure on my right breast because of a bad latch and was in literal tears when I tried to nurse her on it. So I had to pump my right breast for almost a week and only feed her on my left breast. I’m happy to say though that right boob is back in the game and nursing is going amazing now! I have about 23 lbs left to lose that I’m not stressing over because I’m eating healthy and taking daily walks. As soon as I get clearance to workout it’s game time baby, but I’m not counting down the days. Some of you think I’ve bounced back already which I haven’t and some of you want to know how I’m recovering so well. The truth is plain and simple. I was active before pregnancy, during pregnancy, and began walking around the day I gave birth even if for just five minutes. I’ve also been on top of my nutrition the entire time which makes up most of your results. So there are things I’ve done to help myself out in a big way BUT this recovery has definitely been harder then my recovery after Isabel. I wouldn’t trade any of it though and for everyone asking I will be filming a Birth Story soon shit was wild!
