As a part of the opening, a new collection of limited editions by contemporary Japanese artist Hikari Shimoda, Children of This Planet, is being showcased simultaneously in Shanghai, Macau and Taiwan for the first time. As the first stop of the 'Children of This Planet', Zhang Garden in Shanghai unveils an unprecedented debut of Hikari Shimoda’s towering 2-meter-tall art installation and an exclusive selection of limited edition artworks set to launch on April 24, 2023. Among the exclusives are 20 individually crafted 1.6-meter-tall sculptures, each boasting a unique color scheme. In addition, fans can discover small-scale sculptures of Shimoda's characters, measuring 15cm each, and prints.
