【琥珀糖販売の延長のお知らせ】
現在うめだ阪急百貨店にて販売している2種類の琥珀糖ですが、六月上旬まで引き続き取り扱っていただけることになりました。

一つ目は、新緑が眩しい時期、木々の間からこぼれ落ちる光をイメージした「木漏れ日」、二つ目は、梅雨空の元、しっとりと咲く紫陽花をイメージした「雨上がり」です。

「木漏れ日」はモミ、アカマツ、ヒノキなどの香木を使用した森を感じさせるフレーバーに爽やかなライムを合わせ、「雨上がり」はプラムにすみれの香りを合わせ、瑞々しい花をイメージした味に仕上げました。

雨の気配をまとった空気に緑の香りが漂う季節、菓子を通して初夏の景色を感じていただけたら何よりです。

Wagashi On Sale at Hankyu Department Store, Umeda

Two of my kohakuto wagashi on an early summer theme are on sale till mid of June at the Hankyu Department Store in Umeda.

The first, Komorebi, is based on the image of light filtering down through the trees in the season in which the "green of the leaves is most dazzling. The second, Ameagari—"after the rain"—takes its inspiration from the hydrangea and their moist blossoms of the rainy season.

Komorebi rouses the flavors of the forest, in its use of fragrant trees that include fir, red pine and cypress, in addition to the exhilarating lime. Ameagari takes its cue from fresh flowers, fusing the scents of violet and plum. I hope you find that they speak of the character of early summer, with its whispers of rain, and bouquets of green wafting on the air.
