𝙎𝙊𝙁𝙏 𝙊𝙋𝙀𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂

Designed in 1982 by Pierluigi Cerri for @Poltrona Frau, the 𝙊𝙪𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 sofa’s defining characteristic is the contrast between its super-soft, relaxed upholstery and its industrial structure in powder-coated steel. The crossbar with circular openings resembles the cellular beams used in bridges and other modern infrastructure — an introduction of a whole new language to domestic aesthetics.
