I started creating collages from my phone at home, and eventually I started collaging cool textures and images that were around me. The signature elements in my work are slimy and shiny stars, flattened or puffy. The recurring themes are memories, heartbreak and castles,” says Kim, who uses a combination of photos, 3D rendering, photo-editing tools and machine learning to create her art. “It’s incredibly important to me to create pieces that can be interpreted as just being cute elements that are also something deep and meaningful.
