Hello everyone, it’s Samantha Dion Baker @sdionbakerdesign again. I love drawing the animals I meet, and recently fell in love with this rex cat while visiting a friend in Philadelphia. First, I sketched in very light pencil, and then inked the drawing using an 01 black Micron pen. I then finished the page using my Koi field sketch box and a few separate tubes of Koi watercolor paint in yellow ochre, gray, and Van Dyke brown. I added the whiskers and a few furry details with a white Gelly Roll. You can see some of the stages of my process in these three slides.
