My little darling boy. You might have been able to tell from some of my photos and the cloudiness in Alfie’s left eye, that he lost sight in that eye a long time ago. He has been an absolute star carrying on like nothing’s changed and for a long time it didn’t bother him. However, recently I noticed his eye had changed so after weeks of hospital appointments and medication we’ve been told the only way to guarantee he’s not in any pain or discomfort going forwards is to have an operation to remove his eye. As I’m sure you can imagine, it’s been a really emotional time but the only thing that matters is his comfort and happiness and we will do whatever he needs to ensure that. He’s always been such a brave boy and he will undoubtedly prove that yet again this time ❤️
